Malama i ka ‘Apapa (Caring for the Reef Environment)

The Hoakalei Cultural Founation will be sponsoring another invasive seaweed removal service project along the shore of One‘ula Beach, on July 14th, 2015. Volunteers will meet with limu (seaweed) experts from the University of Hawai‘i and learn about native species; and the threat posed by the invasive Avrainvillea amadelpha commonly known as Leather Mud Weed.
